InsurePride Session at Pride in Practice 2024

InsurePride will be featured at this year’s Pride in Practice 2024 Conference in Melbourne with our session titled “Out and Insured: Collaborating with the LGBTIQA+ Community for Better Protection”.

The panel will explore the challenges LGBTIQA+ individuals face in accessing equitable insurance, drawing insights from the world-first Worth the Risk report. We’ll hear directly from community members through powerful testimonials highlighting the discrimination and exclusion experienced in the insurance landscape, and the positive changes that are already happening!

InsurePride Co-Lead Metz Ronan (she/her) will be joined by Nevena Spirovska (she/her) and Austin Fabry-Jenkins (they/them) to discuss the past, present and future of the Worth The Risk Report, and how collaboration between the corporate sector and LGBTIQA+ communities can drive meaningful reform.
